The short version

We collect what we need to run Onyx for you, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to export or delete it anytime.

What we collect

Your account details (name, email), the business information you enter (customers, jobs, invoices, photos), and basic technical logs that help us keep the service running. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

To run Onyx, process your subscription, give you support, keep the service secure, and make it better. That's it.

We don't sell your data

We never sell your information or your customers' information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Companies that help us run Onyx

We use a few trusted providers to deliver the service: Stripe (payments), our hosting and database provider, Vercel Blob (photo storage), an AI provider (for design and quoting features), and Twilio and Resend (to send the texts and emails you choose to send). They only handle your data to do their job for us.

AI features

When you use the Design Studio, Foreman, or document review, the text and photos involved are sent to our AI provider to generate a result and then returned to you. They are not used to train AI models.

Your choices

You can view, export, or delete your data at any time — just ask. Deleting your organization removes its records from the live service.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. After you close your account, we delete it within a reasonable period, except where we're required to keep certain records (like payment history) for legal or tax reasons.
